Who We Are

The board members of Toys for Freeport Tots are active and retired members of the Freeport Police Benevolent Association. Our organization works closely with the local United States Marine Corps Reserve Unit to assist them with their toy drive.

MISSION:

Our mission is to collect new unwrapped toys, as well as raise money throughout the year in order to purchase new toys and clothing. We distribute toys and clothing as holiday gifts to less fortunate children and their families in the Freeport community, as well it's neighboring communities. Toys for Freeport Tots is operated by volunteering members of the Freeport Police Benevolent Association and their families.

GOAL:

The primary goal of Toys for Freeport Tots is to identify and provide assistance to needy families by delivering new toys and clothing during the holiday season. We strive to help all children have a joyous holiday and build a positive relationship between our Police Officers and the community in which we serve. Toys for Freeport Tots uses Freeport Public Schools to assist us in identifying which families would benefit most from our program.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Help less fortunate children and families within our community experience the joy of Christmas, and goodwill towards mankind.

  • Assist these families in the positive development of their children.

  • Unite the community, its Police Officers, local schools and businesses in a common cause of making each child's Christmas a positive one with hope.
